Connections
Gmail, calendars and Drive — what each scope is for, and how to disconnect.
Connections live in Settings → Connections. Each one is optional. Tokens are stored encrypted; disconnecting revokes them.
#Gmail
| Scope | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Read | Indexing, search, learning your writing voice from mail you have sent, and reading your display name and signature so outbound mail matches your client. |
| Send | Sending a draft you have confirmed, from your own address. |
Read and send are separate. You can index mail without ever granting send.
#Calendars
Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar both support two-way event sync. Bloosh reads your existing events to avoid conflicts and writes only events you confirm.
#Google Drive
Drive is an ingest source for the Librarian. Files you select are copied into the workspace library; they are not edited in place on Drive.
#Disconnecting
Disconnect from the same Settings page. Ingested copies of files remain in your library until you delete them. Calendar events already written to the provider are not removed.
