Priorities

The seven-day rail — how work arrives, how it is ranked, how it moves.

Priorities is a ranked rail of what to do next over the coming week. It is not a dumping ground. Work lands here from mail, the calendar, and things you mention in chat, then is placed against everything else you already owe.

#The rail

Each day is a column. Cards move when you drag them, when you mark them done, or when the assistant proposes a reschedule and you confirm it. Overdue work stays visible rather than disappearing at midnight.

#Where tasks come from

  • You type them in the rail or in chat.
  • The assistant proposes them from mail or a document, as a card you accept.
  • Automations can file repeating work (they start switched off).

A task can carry a due date, a calendar block, and links back to the mail or file it came from.

#Done and later

Completing a card records when it finished. Items you are not doing this week belong on a later day or in a list you keep off the rail — do not leave them blocking today.
