Bloosh runs inference through OpenRouter via a paid standard account API, which routes each request to a downstream model provider.
Bloosh does not operate self-hosted or offline copies of these models. Prompts are sent to OpenRouter’s API only for inference.
#OpenRouter routing and Zero Data Retention
All model calls go to https://openrouter.ai/api/v1. OpenRouter is configured at the account level such that:
- Zero Data Retention (ZDR) is required. Requests are routed only to endpoints that OpenRouter marks as ZDR. Endpoints that retain prompts or completions are excluded. See OpenRouter’s ZDR guide.
Exception: Starting October 18, 2026, Google models require Safety Retention which is enabled at the account level.
- Data-training / data-collection toggles are off. Bloosh's privacy settings on OpenRouter deny provider data collection and/or training on API inputs. Providers that would train on input data are not eligible for routing and refused.
